Well al I can say is that I really must be the ‘best mom in the world’ (it says so on my card! sorry all you other moms!!). I had such a fantastic day yesterday, full of surprises! Firstly I managed to lie in until 10am, which is amazing. When I got up and went downstairs Emily had managed to lay the table all by herself, and had melon and cereal and even champagne! (How she managed to buy that I’ll never know). She had even talked Daddy into making me a lovely fry too. So I was stuffed and tipsy before I had even got dressed!

Then she gave me a lovely card which she had written herself and a proper mommy pressie – ‘Jamie Oliver’s Dinners’ cookbook! I don’t know how she managed to persuade Daddy about that one considering his feelings about Mr Oliver!! And Warren had even bought me a CD and yummy choccies to say thank you too!

We spent the rest of the day noodling about, seeing Granny and having a go on the seesaw at the park.

What a splendid day! It made me all emotional and mushy. Thank you my lovely gorgeous little lady and thank my lovely gorgeous boy for helping!
