First Jabs!
There is nothing remotely nice about holding your lovely little babys' leg while the bad doctor sticks in a needle and makes her scream like she is being tortured. I must have had a look of horror on my face without even realising as the doctor spent her time reassuring me rather than Emily! At least its done now anyway...mind you the baby clinic was quite weird, it was like being on a baby vaccination conveyor belt.
So I got her weighed while I was there too and she is now a hefty 13lb! She really does take after her dad...hehe..

It is horrible, isn't it? When her first ones were done, Cordy smiled at me just before the needle went in, then burst into tears. I felt like a terrible mummy.
I just kept repeating "its better than getting the diseases" under my breath - the nurse must've thought I was nuts. Welcome to Parenthood - its about doing what's right, not what's easy!
