First Night Out

I'm a bit late posting this but better late than never!

I went out on Friday night!. The next step on the road to normality. Mind you it wasn't a full blown stay out late come back drunk and spend the weekend recovering event, it was a much more civilised, out with my mates for a chinese and back before midnight affair! But it was still a big step for me and it was great to acutally get my gladrags on and have a glass of wine out with people. I had spent the previous day and half preparing for it by getting plenty of food ready for Emily, just in case!

So a night out for me and a night in for Woz as babysitter. I think he had fun too, at least it was nice for them to spend time alone together, important bonding time. And it was lovely to come back to them both waiting with a cuddle for me!

I don't think I am ready for the hangover times yet though, I don't think I could handle having to do stuff and feeling rubbish at the same time! And poor Emily suffered the effects of my chinese the next day by being very sicky, too much spicey stuff, anyway.

But all in all it was great to get out, feel vaguely normal again and have some fun. One of these days I might even go out for a bop.
