Bathtime Blues Banished
It's been a while, I'm sorry. I was knocked out with flu for most of January, and as a result, I've spent most of February trying to catch up with life.
Anyway, some good news to report. Shortly after my last post about the horrors of bathtime, we had a breakthrough.
Emily had a bath, and didn't scream once.
I didn't want to jinx us, so I didn't post straight away, but suddenly, the bath became an OK place to be. Not exactly laughs and smiles, but no more tortured screaming. Ever since that first 'quiet' bath-time, she's been as good as gold. She's even started grabbing her ducks, and splashing violently (although that tends to hit her up the face and she recoils in shock for a bit).
Even a mouthful of soapsuds as she chews on the ducks doesn't seem to put her off.
Now you know that since I've written this, tomorrow night's bath will return to the scream-fest, don't you?

You know what Woz? Emily doesn't half look like you in that photo!
