Nanny's Visit
I think mom must've realised that I had been feeling a bit grumpy lately. I suppose the first few months I was just running on adrenalin and just recently the effects of numerous sleepless nights, coupled with probably trying to do too much in the day (or so I'm told!) have started to take their toll.
So before I knew mom was on a plane and on her way over (while poor Nige stayed home to supervise the renovating of the bathroom!). It was lovely to see mom and for Emily to see Nanny, and vice versa. Emily changes so much all the time that it was nice that mom could see her at this stage. She even rolled over for the first time while she was here (thats Emily not my mom!).
We had a lovely time and shopped like mad on Monday, with Nanny spoiling her granddaughter of course! So thanks for coming over mom - you cheered me up, it was just what I needed.
Mom sent me pictures of me when I was a baby to see whether Emily and I share any baby characteristics. Have a look at the image below and I'll let you decide...
It was a pleasure Max. Nice to see all three of you again. In case anyone wonders, the photo isn't me! It's Max's nanny and grandad with pickies of Max as a baby too!
