Tooth!
Today is the start of probably many more sleepless nights for us and sore gums for Emily. But I can't help but be a little excited. It seems like such a landmark, like all the others yet to come; sitting up(we have almost got to the 'sitting up on own' landmark, but not quite as she is still a bit wobbly), walking, talking etc. She has had very rosey cheeks for ages now and has been chewing on anything she can get her hands on for the past couple of weeks, so we kinda knew it was approaching, and Warren even bought her a teething ring yesterday to satisfy her gnawing needs.
In one of her 'what can I chew next' moments she grabbed my finger today in an effort to chew that too and I felt a hard sharp edge on her bottom gum. There was absolutely no doubt what it was, no lumpy gum, just pure and simple toothiness! Although you can't see a tooth, its probably too tiny and not all the way through yet but Emily doesn't let me look in her mouth for long enough to see.
Its crazy how quickly time goes by, every time I look at her I can hardly believe she was in my tummy and now she is growing teeth!!

Not long from your tummy and now you can call her gummy!! Oh well, it's the best I can do after a long week at work!
