Emily Goes Back to Her Roots

| | Comments (2)

I have to say it was a couple of weeks ago when we visited Bilston and so this post is extremely late, but between one thing and another I am only just getting round to it - better late than never!

Bilston is not exactly exotic when it comes to discovering roots, but it was where I was born and brought up and so its important that Emily gets to see it. After all it is still full of many relatives, including Nanny & Grandad who wanted to see her. Apart from Uncle Chris who has also up and left to live in Derby, but who came down for the day. She had a great time, meeting all these adoring fans and getting lots of cuddles and licks from the dogs!! Who I have to say where very good and not at all a worry. The thought of three boisterous dogs with a little baby could be nerve wrecking, but Daisy Manny & Fluke are just happy friendly doggies (they might want to lick you to death but thats ok!).

So thanks for all the effort you put into our visit everyone, it was lovely to see you all and for those of you who hadn't met Emily, it was great to finally introduce you.

Here's a few pics from the trip to the Midlands.

It was brilliant to see you all too!! The doggies certainly loved to meet Em and look forward to giving her more kisses and cuddles in a few weeks time when we meet up again in the lakes!

does that mean it's ok if Tiggy (our cat) pokes her? she does tend to poke small defenceless things and I was a bit worried but if dogs can lick can Tiggy poke? I will try to explain to Tig that poking visitors is a bit rude but she does rather ignore the niceties of society!
Sal (looking forward to August!)
