Emily's First Birthday
One already! I can hardly believe it. The year has flown by so quickly, so much has happened and changed, it seems like no time at all. Yet there she is, our gorgeous little girl showing us what life is all about and making us experience love and happiness like we have never felt. It has been a big adventure so far. A journey into the unknown, with ups and downs and some tough times, but always worth it. I know this is just the beginning and we have endless adventures to come and I really can't wait - but at the same time I want to keep my little baby just like she is forever.
She had a great day, with lots of presents from everyone. She was truly spoilt. Thank you all so much for your gifts, it was very kind and she loved them all! Only now she can't decide what to play with first! We had balloons and fimbles decorations, birthday cake and lots of party food. It was great. Hopefully we can get more photos and video for you to see too. The day and night was so hectic and busy we hardly took any, but here's a few for you to at least get a glimpse into Emily's first birthday.
It's sure amazing how quickly she's growing. Sorry we weren't there on her special day but we were constantly thinking about her throughout the day and sending our love. It's great to see her so happy.

Hi there! What a great site both as a permanent diary of all Emily's achievements and also as a way for everyone else to keep tabs on the progress! Must have some dedicated people in that parent team to find the time to design and update it!
