Emily took her first few steps this weekend! Its so exciting to see her reach such big landmarks in her development. She stood for a little while and then took 3 or 4 steps. Not much I know but its massive achievement in our eyes! Its funny cause we cheered and clapped and she then sat on the floor and looked at everyone and clapped herself! She is so cute and gets more beautiful each day!

She hasn't continued to take many steps since then though and only does it when she feels like it. I think she still realizes that she can get places faster crawling, while she is still a bit wobbly on her feet. But its a step in the right direction and at least she is getting more interested in walking now.

It only seems like yesterday I could leave her on a blanket on the floor and wander around the house without worrying where she was, what she was upto and what she had found on the floor and was eating....!
