Four and a Half G
Hoorah! Emily has her first shoes!! The start of a very long and wonderful life of shoe shopping, shoe collecting and shoe demanding from daddy...soon we will have to start looking for a bigger house just to accommodate the growing piles of footwear.
It was so exciting taking Emily for her first shoes and they even took a photo - so cute. At first we picked out these adorable little ankle boots, which we though would not only be easy to get on, due to the velcro strap (with little cute flower!) but also would keep her lovely and warm in this cold weather. But she was having none of it and could not even lift her feet up, let alone walk in them. It appeared that we had put blocks of lead at the end of our little ones feet! The shop assistant was very dubious at our claims that she could walk by herself and we had to assure her that she could.
So in the end we picked out a little pair of cute navy shoes with little applique flowers on the side. She still seemed a little wobbly in them but at least it proved that she could actually walk. She just looks so grown up in them and so cute!

I love the redesigned site! Cordy did the exact same thing when we bought her first shoes - we could see the sales assistant thinking "no way can this child walk..."
Hi Bunny, too cute. Your little girl is all grown up... just wait til she starts wanting nine west shoes. I love this new website, if i hadn't told you already. I do have trouble with most links, photo gallery, etc. and i have tries sending comments a few times and it hasn't worked for me. so here goes with another try.
Warren..???? Oh hello!!! Warren, are you there??? Oh well, hopefully you are. I don't really understand how all this works...can this message be read by everyone you've ever known?
Anyway, Emily is a beautiful little girl - congratulations! This site is amazing yet strangely scary. Felix was one on November 2nd and I still barely have time to have a bath in peace, let alone concoct and constantly update something this complex! Are you what I think is known as a blogger???? Is there a helpline?! I tried to email you on your radardigital address ages ago but didn't hear back - is it out of date, or are you just ignoring me?! Too busy blogging perhaps?!
Anyway, hi to Max, big kiss to Emily and OH HELLLOOOOOOO to you. Can you email me, so we can have a private conversation - I feel strangely exposed here!
Clare xxxx
PS. Felix has size 8G feet!
congratulations Emily on joining the happy club for Girls and their shoes! soon you'll be graduating to the very popular Clarks brown suede tall boots with flowers up the side!
