Builders and Babies Don't Mix

| | Comments (2)

Considering we have been getting an extension built on the back of our house since November, it is pretty good going that I am only just beginning to feel the stress now. The mess and noise hasn't bothered me at all - until they knocked through and consequently knocked down the back of our house on the weekend, with the absence of windows and doors, extra stormy weather conditions, nowhere to put anything, brick dust everywhere and a tiny either running around into everything or clinging to my leg when the noisy power tools start!

So yes as you can see I am stressed. I probably wouldn't mind as much but Emily is a bit poorly and on a visit to the doctor today, we discovered she had a temperature of 104. So the last thing we need is the house to be in its current state and open to the elements.

Its tough trying to get this type of work done with a baby. Its a testing time. Anyway I need to go and drink lots of tea and eat lots of chocolate so here are some pics of the chaos!
