The Good, The Bad and The Beautiful
Yep that's our Em. Although in fairness she is not really that bad - just a bit contrary sometimes and most of the comments I get from other people are something like 'Isn't she good!' or 'She seems like a really content little girl'. So I can't really complain. I know I do have to vent sometimes but it usually coincides with me feeling really tired or run down.
Well last week Emily and I deserted poor Daddy and went to stay in a friends house in Donegal for the week. It was completely last minute as she was up there with her kids and called on Tuesday morning to see if I wanted to join them - so I did! Em just loves having company and had so much fun with Cameron (5) and Ellie (almost 2). She got into the swing of things right away and hardly remembered I was there! Which was great for me of course as it meant I could relax and leave her to play.
But it was the longest we had been away from Warren and we did miss him a lot, especially when touring round the beautiful beaches and countryside. It was weird for me too cause I normally am the passenger in these situations and I get to take in the scenery!
It was later on in the week when Em proved to be the most adorable yet and almost had me in tears I was that moved. We were walking up the stairs and she stopped half way, turned round and put her hand on my face and said 'Miss. Daddy'! I'm welling up just thinking of it! She then said 'Daddy hug. Kiss'! How much more adorable can she possibly get?

Ahhhhhhhhhh, how sweet. Give her kisses and hugs from nanny and grandad.
