Doggie Potty

| | Comments (5)

Look what I bought yesterday! The woman in the shop probably thought I was a complete loon because I nearly jumped up for joy and gave her a big kiss when I saw that they sold these!

I had been looking for them everywhere, but it seemed places had stopped stocking them. Mom even managed to find a supplier of a similar one on the web but with no supply details. So when I walked in the little shop in Bangor yesterday it made my day (who would've thought I could get so excited by a potty).

You see, Emily's friend Cameron (who is now 6) had one and now uses it as a seat in the garden (the potty bit comes out and there is a lid to convert it into a chair) and Em loves playing with it when we are round his house. Also, because she is getting quite tall the little floor potties look so uncomfortable, its no wonder she hates sitting on them.

I am going to let her get used to playing with this for a while as a chair and build up to the actual nappies off time and hopefully by then she will love it. Fingers crossed.

Well I'm mighty glad you found it. I must have spent the whole day on the web searching for one. If someone hacked my computer to see what web sites I looked at they'd have a bit of a shock!

Those little potties are no use for tall munckins. We made Cordy sit on some in Mothercare before we bought hers, and we got a "throne" one too - much more comfy to sit on.

I don't think it can feel very secure to be expected to go to the loo with your knees up around your ears - I'm sure Emily will be much happier with her new doggy potty!
