Meet the Godparents

Don't be too alarmed by appearances, Auntie Julie & Uncle Paul don't always look like this. They can be quite normal really (well I suppose that depends on your definition of 'normal'!).

Despite this, yesterday we asked Julie and Paul to be Emily's Godparents. I suppose, because we are not church goers, what we really mean is is her legal guardians, in the event that anything should happen to us. Thanks for accepting you two! We know how much Emily means to you and we thought you were perfect for the job!

Warren reckons Julie might find someway to bump us off now, so if anything strange happens you know where to look first!

You evil evil lady. This was not part of the deal! This photo was not for public consumption!

May I just add, these costumes were put on display on xmas morning for one purpose and one purpose only. To make my neice and nephews laugh... the response?? Well my new goddaughter opened the front door, saw these two losers standing there, shouted..."Daddy, too scarey!" and nearly started to cry. Result.

We then progressed to "my boys", where evan (5 1/2) seemed fairly disinterested and calvin (11) opened the door and stated I had obviously taken a wrong turn to the mental hospital. This was said in a kind of jack dee deadpan manner. So the long and short of it is, our moment of madness was not meant to be captured and certainly not meant to be shared!!!

Anyway, still got the job, after this interview, amazing! (and very happy)
