May Day Fun

I was so pleased that Warren was able to take time out from work to have fun with Emily an I on bank holiday Monday. We all could do with lots of fun together! We went out for a lovely lunch (and it was fantastic - I had the biggest and loveliest burger I have had in a long time!) and then we went to W5, which is a science and discovery centre.
We have been one time before but last time the under 8's section was closed. We still had a good time then but it obviously wasn't quite as suitable for Emily. This time however, it was back open and I am so glad Emily got to experience it. There was lots to do including a mini Tesco's, where she could fill up her basket with food, a pretend cafe where the kids serve the adults with pretend food, a construction site (which Emily loved!) with a crane which they can use to pick up bricks and deliver them to children on a house, which they then build, plus lots more.
The picture is of Emily playing in the water park section, where she had lots of fun and needless to say got soaking wet, even with an apron. It was great day.
